Education B.S., Computer Science University of California, Santa Barbara, 2001 Experience Graphic Designer, Torre Argentina Cat Refuge in Rome Designed a brochure that is used in tourist kiosks and hotels in Rome to promote the shelter. Designed their first volunteer manual which has been in use for over 2 years now.
Engineer, Producer, and Host, KCSB Engineered, produced, and hosted a 2 hour radio show that aired once a week on KCSB, 91.9 FM in Santa Barbara, California. The show featured new alternative rock artists, interviews with musicians, politicians, directors, and others. My show also featured current events and commentary. I was the sole engineer and host for the show, and operated all of the equipment, including the mixing board, turntables, CD players, and more.
Engineer, Green Hills Software Worked with a variety of operating systems daily, such as Solaris, Linux, HPUX, and Windows XP/2000/NT/ME/98. Wrote Perl scripts to automate testing tasks, such as creating, compiling, and executing sample programs with the Green Hills’ tools. Created comprehensive test plans to test many of Green Hills’ tools features, such as code optimizing, memory leak finding, and hardware breakpoints.
Web Designer and Requirements Analyst, Virtual Business House Managed the project of specifying the design and functionality of the web site and intranet of Virtual Business House. Researched many tele-conferencing tools and data sharing tools in terms of usability and security. Used Absalution Enterprise Portal software to design the site. Prepared a clear and concise tutorial for Virtual Business House staff that I used to give tutorials covering how to use the features of their intranet such as collaborative information sharing, discussion forums, personalized content, personal calendar, email reminders, and more.
Programmer and Tech Writer, IXOS Developed a programming guide for the OLE Application Programming Interface for a document archiving product. The programming guide demonstrated how to connect and access document archiving functions in different languages such as C++, Java, Basic, VBScript, and Java Script.
